Client: Dare
Mighty Things
Challenge:
The client wanted an informational, user-friendly Web
site with a catchy logo that would, first and formost,
inform the public about ACF's Compassion Capital Fund
(CCF). The audience was three-fold: potential applicants
for CCF, current grantees, and the general public. The
Web site's secondary purpose was to announce new funding
and offer a quick history of funding levels. Last, the
client wanted an easy-to-use calendar of events and
a well-organized resource section to feature important
guidebooks, Web links, and articles.
Solution:
Xtria collaborated with the client to determine the
Web site's audience, purpose, objectives, scope of content,
and functionality considerations. Xtria developed a
sortable calendar and organized the content based on
user-centered design principles. Xtria ensured the the
site met strict agency guidelines for architecture,
design and accessibility. The result was a logical,
easy-to-understand Web site that satisfied the client's
needs and program office's requirements.
