Client: Administration
for Children & Families (ACF)
Challenge:
The contract required the integration of 2 preexisting
Web sites that publish social policy research to the
public. The two Web sites are Child Outcomes Research
and Evaluation, (CORE) which focuses on early childhood,
and Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE),
which focuses on children and families issues. The contract
also required site maintenance and document preparation
for Web posting.
Solution:
For the integration, Xtria conducted an analysis of
the sites and developed the new OPRE Web site to meet
ACF Web standards and Section 508 accessibility standards.
Because the site hosts hundreds of documents, the new
site was developed with a searchable database as well
as the ability to sort an A-Z index of documents.
